Elsie Pearl Davis

Elsie P. Davis, 81, of Vienna, passed away September 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1938 in Cairo, WV, a daughter of the late Orval and Georgia Amick Six. Along with her husband Paul she owned and operated Davis Appliance in Parkersburg. She was a member of Vienna Baptist Church where she was active with the women’s crafters and served on the bereavement committee. Elsie was an avid reader. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Davis of Parkersburg, Connie Twyman of Vienna and Rebecca Chambers (Michael) of Murrells Inlet, SC.; three sons, Gary “Mongo” Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Phillip Davis (Wendy) of Shreveport, Louisana and Craig Davis of Vienna; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Dickerson of Barberton, OH, Irene Atwater (Jeff) of Fleming, OH and Mary Lou Waters (Joe) of Stem, NC and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Paul Davis and three brothers, Lewis, Danny and David Six. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 Friday, September 20, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory of Vienna, with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of the services at the funeral home on Friday.
