Ellen Faye Clark

March 22, 1941 — February 25, 2024

Ellen Faye Clark, 82, of Belpre, OH was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, February 25, 2024.
She was born March 22, 1941 in Sandyville, WV., a daughter to the late Levi and Manila Sprankle Holbert.
Faye was a member of the “JUST As You ARE” Church, loved reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. She had a giving heart, even during her final days, she found ways to help others in need. Faye was extremely proud of her sons who served in the United States Navy. Her joy was her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ernest “Ernie” Wayne Clark Sr.; one grandson, Ernest Wayne Clark III; and six brothers, Kenneth, Jim, Don, Darrel, Melvin, and Paul Holbert.
Faye is survived by two sons, Ernest Wayne Clark Jr. (Carol) of Milton, FL., and Eric Todd Clark (Jennifer) of Marietta, OH., her siblings, Bobby Holbert of Vienna, Ruth Ann Morehead of Belpre, Dean Holbert (Jewel) of Belpre, and Doris Brady of Belpre; grandchildren, William Clark, Staci Clark (Mike Scholeck) and their children, Abigail, Michael, and Natalie Faye, Austin Clark, Joshua Clark (Chelsea), Sara Battles (Tyler) and their children, Blakeleigh and Blossom, and Elliott Clark (Lyn) and their children, Leilani and Areeana; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wants to extend a special thank you to Shivers Hospice for their love and care for Faye during the past six months.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday March 1, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St. with Rev. Leland R. Close officiating. Entombment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Belpre. Visitation will be 5:00pm – 8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
