Ella Armeda Moore

November 27, 1923 — July 20, 2016

Armeda Enoch Moore, 92 of Parkersburg, W.Va. went home to be with her Savior July 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born Nov. 27, 1923 in Washington County, OH daughter of the late Offa Bascom and Clara Edith Wilcox Enoch. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church where she served in the nursery. She and her husband, Kenneth were very active in their Sunday School class for many years. Armeda is survived by three daughters, Donna Allen (Carl) of Washington, W.Va., Marcella Moore of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Marcia Metz (Bruce) of Belpre, OH; a sister, Irene Keller of Belpre, OH; five grandchildren, Christie Brown of Belpre, OH, Kevin Allen (Teri) of Washington, W.Va., Kimberly Gandee (Jason) of Little Hocking, OH, Jodie Mullins (Wayne) of Vienna, W.Va.; and Sarah Roth (Trevor) of Havana, ND; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. Moore in 2008; one son, Dennis Moore; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Armeda's caregivers, Brenda Byrd, Pat and Kay, and Housecalls Hospice. Memorial donations may be made in Armeda's name to The Gideons. Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
