Date and Time of Service: Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 11:00 a.m.posted 12/9/2010 at 3:12:23 PMElla K. �Kitty� Koerner, 70, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away peacefully Monday evening at St. Joseph�s Hospital with her loving family at her side.She was born in Elizabeth, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harry Chapman and Bertha Mae Criss Law. Kitty was a homemaker who loved to read and write stories. She was an exceptional artist. Kitty loved her family and extended her love out into the community as a caregiver to those who needed help.She is survived by her husband of 53years, Thomas B. Koerner, Sr.; four daughters, Susan Bee (David Roy), Katherine Koerner, Linda L. Smith (Mitchell) all of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Dawn Michelle Blair of Georgia; one son, Thomas B. Koerner, Jr. (Shellie) of Clyde, Ohio; one sister, Mildred Boggs of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives too numerous to mention.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday Dec. 10, 2010 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Jim Lynch officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.Please use the following link to view a video tribute to Mrs. Koerner.
