Elizabeth Jane Moyer

Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Moyer passed away peacefully Monday, November 11, 2019 at her son’s residence. She was born in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late Albert and Mildred Cahill Sansbury. She retired from C&P Telephone Co. after 43 years of service as an operator. She was a member of the 7th St. United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. Betty is survived by one daughter, Robin Hausman and her husband, Brian of Vienna; one son, Robert “Rob” Moyer and his wife, Trena of Parkersburg; one grandson, Brian Green and his wife, Tomi Jo of Parkersburg; two great-grandchildren, Evan and Dani Green of Parkersburg. In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Moyer who passed away May 15, 2000; and three brothers, Albert, Jr, Raymond and Neil Sansbury. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Chaplain Lora Sams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
