Elizabeth A. Castle

Elizabeth Alvina Castle 86, of Belpre, Ohio passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at her residence.She was born October 17, 1928 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Albert and Pauline Susky Detloff. Elizabeth enjoyed fishing, helping others and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Elroy Castle; her son, Jim Zawada and wife, Nancy of Belpre; one brother, William Detloff of Lockport, Ill; two sisters, Margarie Kissell and Bernice Emerson both Mt. Home, Ark.; grandchildren, Steven, Elizabeth, and Jennifer Zawada; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Zawada.Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Rockland Cemetery with Jim Lynch officiating. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre is assisting the family with arrangements.
