Eleanor Pauline Dilly

Eleanor Pauline Dilly, 76, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., went to be with her Lord on May 20, 2015 at her home.She was born September 27, 1938, in Belleville, W.Va., a daughter of the late L. Doral and Dortha Tennant George.Eleanor retired from Kroger. She loved watching her grandchildren and her puppy “Sassy” play.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bernard Dean Dilly; one son, Rocky (Tina) Dilly of Mineral Wells; one sister, Beatrice Parsons of Mineral Wells; one brother, Bobby (Lillian) George of Mineral Wells; three grandchildren, Amy Dilly, Whitney Dilly and Jacob (Amber) Sims, all of Mineral Wells; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberley Dilly Sims; and four sisters, FriedaTownsend, Gladys Stewart, Betty Lou George and Hyla Hupp.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Sandy Runion officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Mineral Wells.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
