Edwin Phillip Morris, 73, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on September 30, 2013 at The Willows Center.He was born April 7, 1940, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Roy M. and Hazel Mullins Morris.Ed was born into a family of grocers and he followed by working at a very young age for Ray Bibbee's Produce Market. He worked for his mom and dad at the B & R Super Market on Pike St. He was a meat manager at Ralph's Market during the 60's and 70's.He owned and operated the Lubeck Meat Packing and Morris Country Corner in Lubeck, W.Va. During the 80's he moved to the Florida Keys where he owned a bait shop, was a commercial fisherman and worked as the meat manager at Winn-Dixie on Big Pine Key where he retired. He loved boating, fishing and gardening, especially growing tomatoes.He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 51 years, Jeanie Shultz Morris; three children, son, Andrew Morris and wife, Natalee of Fort Myers, Fla. and their triplets, Dylan, Devon and Hollie and his daughter, Mandy Morris; daughter, Lisa Morris of Big Pine Key, Fla. and her sons, Steele and Chazz Falcon, and daughter, Misty Morris and her husband, Chrys Neophytou of Big Pine Key; four brothers, Larry Morris (Gloria) and Jerry Morris, both of Lubeck, W.Va., Butch Morris (Millie) of Parkersburg, and Rick Morris (Joyce) of Washington, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Ed will be very much missed by his family and friends.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Phillip Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
