Edward R. “Ed” Henry, 49, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2016. He was born August 25, 1967 in Marietta, Oh. Ed was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and worked as the shop manager for Monroe Muffler in Vienna for the last fourteen years. He had a wonderful knack for troubleshooting and fixing autos. Ed truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He enjoyed time with family and friends, especially spending time with his grandson, Kaysen. He enjoyed grilling out, watching Quentin Tarantino movies, listening to music and muscle cars. Ed had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Cunningham of Parkersburg; a step-daughter, Brittany Bell (Joe) of Parkersburg; his grandson, Kaysen Cunningham Friend; his granddaughter, Michelle Bell; his friend, Dan Thomas of Vienna; friend and the mother of Tiffany, Toni Lynn Pyles Henry; sister in-law and friend, Charlene Durnell of Vienna; his devoted dog companions, Sampson, Delilah and Buster. Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Henry and his father. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna. Visitation will be Monday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
