On January 3, 2021, Earl K. Lewis Sr, of Williamstown, WV, departed this earth to be with his heavenly father. Earl was born on September 9, 1936, in New Martinsville, WV. He was a member of the Williamstown Presbyterian Church. Earl’s hobbies included collecting knives, reading, fishing and visiting places of history - one of which was getting to see and touch the USS Hunley when it was raised in the Charleston Harbor. He also enjoyed practical jokes of all kinds. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Juddson Lewis and Dortha Lewis and his youngest son, Michael Brian Lewis (April) of Cecilia, KY. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie who was the love of his life for 62 years. Surviving children, Betty Lewis Smith (Dick) and Earl K. Lewis II (Vivian) of Williamstown, Diane Lewis Leeper (Charles) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Christopher Leeper (Maureen) and Nicholas Leeper (Sherry) of South Carolina; siblings, Juddson Lewis of Williamstown and Nancy (Pam) Kiggins of Sarasota, FL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the Williamstown Presbyterian Church in memory of Earl.
