Earl L. Daggett

Earl L. Daggett, 77, of Mineral Wells, W.Va. passed away on May 2, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born January 28, 1939, in Wirt County, W.Va., a son of the late Alpha and Mary Morris Daggett. Earl worked at Cytec Chemical Corp., Willow Island. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, being outdoors and spending time with family. He was a member of the Rockport Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Thelma Starcher Daggett; one daughter, Carolyn K. Mitchell (Doug) of Mineral Wells; two sons, Tony E. Daggett (Tammy) of Mineral Wells and Toby D. Daggett of Mineral Wells; three sisters, Charlotte Leasure (Buck) of Mineral Wells, Neva Leasure (Bill) of Mineral Wells and Jewell Aylward of Mineral Wells; one brother, Delbert Daggett of Mineral Wells; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Dewayne Daggett; grandson, Todd Daggett; and his brother in-law, John Aylward. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. South Parkersburg with Evangelist J.D. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Big Tygart Cemetery, Rockport Section. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
