E. Virginia “Jenny/Granny” Metz, 74, of Williamstown, W.Va., passed away on June 28, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born November 2, 1940, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Mae Richardson. She retired after 27 years with the Wood Co. Board of Education.She is survived by two daughters, Tina (Kevin) Ferguson of Waverly, W.Va. and Tammy Lemley of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, David (Kelly) Metz of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Sandra Anderson of Marlington, W.Va. and Saundra Wikelund of Africa; three brothers, Buster Watson of Caldwell, Ohio, Lewis Watson of Lubeck, W.Va. and Roger Watson of Marlington, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Crystal (Adam) Hune, Jenna Lyons, Candy (Jimmy) Flanagin, Zachary Lemley, Chance (Sarah) Lemley, Tyler (Kimberly) Metz, Sydney Metz, Zoey Metz and Zarek Metz; five great-granchildren, Stella, Miles, Malea and Max Flanagin, and Olivia Hune; and a very good friend, Carol Alkire of Parkersburg.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Metz; four brothers, Kenny, Willie, Bill and Ben Watson; and one sister, Carol McKinney.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Randy Dornan officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
