Duane Y. Alderman

Duane Y. Alderman, 64, of Mineral Wells passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born September 17, 1959 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Morris and Zoe (Waugh) Alderman.

Duane was a 1977 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. During his working years, Duane was the President and CEO of Eastern Electric and Electronics Co. Inc. He was an active member in the IBEW Local #968 where he held various roles throughout his career. Duane was a member of Big Tygart Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching baseball, and the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his two sons, Cameron Alderman (Bethany) and Andrew Alderman (Sarah Watkins); two sisters, Deborah Alderman-Paul (Ron) and Dreama Alderman-Suek (Mark); two brothers, Dana Alderman and Dwight Alderman (Janna); grandchildren, Caleb and Natalie Alderman; step-grandchildren, Thor McLaughlin and Daiten Roberts; and his girlfriend, Cheri Schnell.

In addition to his parents, waiting for Duane in Heaven are his grandparents, Clarence and Leona White and Lonnie and Matilda Waugh; and his sister, Gloria Alderman.

Funeral Services will be held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Don Yeager and Mark Suek officiating. Burial will follow at Big Tygart Rockport Cemetery. Visitation will start at 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
