Douglas N. Hupp, 78, of Parkersburg, passed away on June 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1939, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Clair L. and Freda J. Roush Hupp. Douglas retired from Corning Glass after thirty plus years of service. He was a member of Pettyville United Methodist Church also of The Jaycees International. He was an avid hunter, a collector of Donaghho Stoneware and took interest in Genealogy. He is survived by his two sons, Darin (Genie) Hupp of Charleston, WV and Greg Hupp of Roanoke, VA; his companion of several years, Sharon Woodyard of Vienna; and his six grandchildren, Austin, Madeline, Carter, Linden, Alex, and Caleb. In addition to his parents Douglas was preceded in death by his son, Troy Hupp; and one brother, Jerry Hupp. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
