Parkersburg
Doug L. Parkins, 68, of Parkersburg, passed away, July 28, 2025 at WVU Camden Clark. He was born June 5, 1957 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Curtis and Alice Santee Parkins.
Doug served our country honorably in the U.S. Army, and made a career as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind his sons, Eric Parkins (Sarah) and Derek Parkins, all of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Ashton, Harper, Addyson, Bryer, and Kalix; two sisters, Jennifer Butcher (Tony) of Parkersburg and Terry Cairns (Dick) of Georgia; a brother, Ron Parkins of Parkersburg; and his dog, Milo.
Per Doug’s wishes, there will be no services.
Lambert Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the Parkins family.
