Dottie L. Midkiff

Dottie L. Midkiff, 73, of Vienna, WV, died October 2, 2017 She was born October 7, 1943 in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Cledith H. Cantwell and Darla J. Cantwell. Dottie graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1961, and was a retired legal secretary. She is survived by her beloved husband, James G. Midkiff, who gave her many years of love, care and happiness. During her illness, he was her steady caregiver who gave of himself, totally, in order to make life as happy for her as possible. Her whole life was her beloved Jim and he meant the world to her. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Patsy Helms and a brother-in-law, Fred Helms, both of Belpre. Also three nieces, Pam, Lori and Brenda, all of Parkersburg. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and Worthington Healthcare Center for their loving attention and care of Dottie. Pursuant to her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of Vienna, WV.
