Dorothy Gay Stalnaker

Dorothy G. Stalnaker, 92, of Williamstown, WV passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 25, 1931, a daughter of the late William Ralph and Alma G. Rhodes Raines. Dorothy was a professional seamstress and had previously worked at The Diamond (department store) and Kelley’s Men’s Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her sister, Carol L. Westfall (Ronnie) of Williamstown and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Glenvil Brooks Stalnaker; son, Dr. Ralph Stalnaker; sister, Barbara Justice and two brothers, Warren “Pug” Raines and Carl Raines.

There will be no calling hours, but friends may join the family for a graveside service at the Ferrell Cemetery, Roane County, WV at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 with Pastor Larry Jones officiating.
