Dorothy M. “Dot” Butcher, 92, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 in the Camden Clark Medical Center.Mrs. Butcher was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harry and Marjorie Ann Sheets Sturm.Dot was a 1941 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She was formerly employed by the C&P Telephone Company, Montgomery Ward Co., City of Vienna, and the Parkersburg-Wood county Library. She was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church and especially enjoyed cow collectibles and reading.She is survived by one son, James M. Butcher and wife, Laura of Parkersburg; one daughter, Deborah Ann Williams and husband, Lynn of Union City, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Candace Hayes, Krishna Root, Jimmy Butcher, Joe Butcher, Craig Williams, Tiffany Alexander, Kimberly Williams, Brian Butcher and Betsy Butcher; several great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butcher was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Butcher in 1966; one son, Marc Butcher; and one daughter, Carol Sutton.Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Service will conclude with interment in the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Ohio.The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
