Dorothy E. Church

Dorothy E. Church, 94, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away on December 18, 2016 at The Arbors at Marietta. She was born March 24, 1922, in Coolville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ethel Clark. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking large meals for her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Corma Fleming (Leroy) and Jane Hadley (Mike) both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; her son, Robert Church (Sarah) of Vienna; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her mom she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Church; her son, William Church; one daughter and son in-law, Dianna and Jerry Crawford; and two brothers, Francis and Jack Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg. Entombment will follow at Sunset Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Arbors at Marietta for their love and care.
