Dorothea Louise Higgins Wright, 90, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away on March 24, 2015 at Care Haven of Pleasants in Belmont, W.Va., surrounded by her loved ones.She was born February 23, 1925 in Ritchie Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Henry and Dora DeMoss Lambert.Dorothea was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family.She was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Wilson (Lance) of Florence, S.C.; two sons, Larry Higgins (LaVaughn) of Greenwood, W.Va. and Timothy Lee Wright (Sandy) of Hayesville, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Gretchen Wright Himmeger of St. Marys, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Lisa Morrison (Steve) of Mt. Clare, W.Va., Jeff Wilson of Texas, Jane Wilson of Parkersburg and Jennifer Wilson of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Louise Morrison; and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Perley Higgins; her second husband, William O. Wright; her son, Thomas Dale Wright; one brother, William Lambert; and one sister, Mildred Eddy.There will be a memorial service at St. Marys United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Cindy Eakle officiating.Inurnment will be at the I.O.O.F.
