Donzel Ray Brannon, 72, of Parkersburg, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born May 13, 1944, in Otto, WV, a son of the late Earl P. and Fenetta Moss Brannon. Donzel retired from Kraton Polymers as a Process Operator. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post 750 of Lowell, Ohio. Donzel enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his wife, Mary Brannon; his two daughters, Diane McMullen and Michelle Brannon both of Parkersburg; three sisters, Frances Greathouse, Linda Carpenter and Brenda Brannon all of Spencer, WV; three brothers, Paul Brannon of Akron, OH., Don Brannon of Parkersburg and Elijah Brannon of Orville, OH.; and his dog, Dutches; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, Mikey, Katlin and Rachelle McMullen, Megan Brannon, Hope Wigal and Britney Martin; and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Brannon; brother Steve Brannon; and two sisters, Clara Starcher and Violet Gregg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Roger Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Otto Cemetery in Otto, WV. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #15 at the funeral home.
