Donald William Humphrey,

Donald William Humphrey, Jr,. age 86 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio. He was born February 15, 1930 in Mt Hope, W.Va., a son of the late Donald William Humphrey, Sr. and Mary Stack Humphrey. Donald served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Keene Corp. in 1990 as an accountant and worked at Astorg Auto Sales, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church. Donald was an avid WV sports fan and loved sports, old movies, and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Howard Humphrey (Maria) of Vienna; two daughters, Jayne E. Beebe (Pat) of Fleming, Ohio and Carole L. Allen (Bob) of Little Hocking, Ohio; one brother, David Humphrey of Gahanna, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Chris Smith, Meagan Powers (Anthony), Spenser Allen, Josh Beebe, Jordan Beebe, Alisha Humphrey, Garrett Humphrey (Vanessa) and Mason Humphrey; three great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Powers, Tucker David Powers and Gemma Kate Humphrey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Humphrey on February 17, 2013; infant grandson, Brandon Scott Allen; brother, Jack Humphrey; and sister, Susie Warren. Funeral services will conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna with Pastors Bill Brown and Dennis Pratt officiating. Interment will follow at the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
