Donald Ray Strong

Donald Ray Strong, 67, of Mineral Wells, passed away peacefully, January 14, 2026 in his home. He was born July 10, 1958 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Okey J. and Muriel M. Fought Strong.

Donald was a graduate from Wirt County High School. He worked at Ravens Metals and Benson Trucking as a welder. He enjoyed antiques, and going hunting.

He leaves behind two sons, Jeremy Strong (Mary) and Jamie Strong (Missy); grandchildren, Emma Grace, Miles, Molly, Natalie, and Emma Faye; a brother, Russell Strong (Linda); sister-in-law, Mona Strong; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandson, Jackson Eli Strong; and his siblings, Doris M. Johnson, Roger Strong, and Wilma Snider.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. South Parkersburg. Burial will follow at the K of P Cemetery in Elizabeth. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, January 19 at the funeral home.
