Donald H. Russell

Donald H. Russell, 100, of Belpre, passed away peacefully at Highland Oaks Health Center on September 23, 2024. He was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on December 27, 1923 to the late Frank E. and Hilda Schenk Russell.

He served our country honorably in the United States Navy, a veteran having served during World War II. He completed his education focusing on electrical, and worked for Mon Power. He attended Mullen Memorial Baptist Church in Belpre.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Ronald and Craig Lee (Linda) Russell; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 77 years, LaGreta Brown Russell.

In keeping with Donalds wishes, he will be cremated and interred within his final resting place in the Willow Island Cemetery.
