Donald E. Harris

Donald E. Harris 79, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away October 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 26, 1937 in Vienna, the son of the late Curtis Leon and Bessie Oliver Harris. Donald was retired and was self-employed. He is survived by two sons, Donald E. Harris, Jr. of Vienna, Thomas E Harris (Shannan) of Louisiana; four daughters, Kim R. Wahl (Gary) of Vienna, Stormy J. Hatcher(Jeff) of Kenna, W.Va., Diedra D. Mantel (Tim) of McConnesville, Ohio and Barbara A. McCoy(Danny) of Palestine, W.Va.; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leon, Richard and Kenny Harris; and two sisters, Annie Hendershot and Dorothy Holmes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Murphy Harris; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary and Sharon. Funeral services for Donald will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens in Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
