Donald “Gene” Harman, 77, of Vienna, passed away June 7, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1940 in Rutland, OH, the son of the late Lenville R. and Mabel E. Williams Harman. Gene retired from DuPont as an electrician after 34 years of service. He loved restoring old cars, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Gene was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Vienna. He is survived by his daughters, Gina Marchand (Wayne) of Upper Arlington, OH, and Lauri Reed of Hilliard, OH; his son, Steven Harman (Paula) of Belpre, OH; sister, Sheila McDaniel of Rutland, OH; brother, Larry Harman (Edie) of Rutland, OH; four grandchildren, Nathaniel and Ryan Marchand, Sydney Reed and Madison Harman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Kiser Harman and one brother, Michael “Buzzy” Harman. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, with Rev. Emilie E. Theobald-Rowlands officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
