Donald Wayne Clark Sr.

Donald Wayne Clark Sr., 76, of Washington, WV passed away January 3, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by family, and with the compassionate care of Amedisys Hospice.

Son of the late Margie and Edward Clark Sr., Donald was born March 24, 1948 in Parkersburg, WV. He was a United States Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War during his time in the military. Donald was a hardworking laborer and specialized in many different trades. He enjoyed working on cars, shooting guns, and spending time with his family. He was a faithful Christian and attended Gateway Apostolic Church in Parkersburg, WV.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Clark Jr.; and four sisters, Ellen Clark, Barb Flowers, Doris Gale, and Donna Dennis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jeannine Jo Clark; sons, Donald Wayne Clark Jr. (Amber) and Alexander Clark; daughters, Melissa Pelfrey (John), Kayla Dixon (Anthony) and Danielle Perkins; brother, Tommy Clark; sisters, Marlene McGary and Paula Allman; grandchildren, Vincent Moore (Jessica), Andrew Murphy (Caitlin), Dylan Tant, Haley Woolard (Seth), Gage Clark, Jayden Clark, Amaya Lewis, Jeremiah Lewis, Braxton Perkins, Bradley Marrazzo, Reid Perkins, and Brighley Dixon; great-grandchildren, Lucas Wayne Murphy, Kieran and Rosemary Moore; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will greatly miss him.

Funeral service will begin at 11 AM, Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Lambert-Tatman Green with Pastor Heather Camp officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2025. A private cremation will follow the funeral service.
