Don Eugene Brewer

Don Eugene Brewer, 84, of Williamstown, passed away January 7, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 16, 1940 in Kanawha, along Cabin Creek, WV. He was a son of the late Koneta and Cornelius Brewer.

He graduated from Nicholas County High School in Summersville, WV with the class of 1959. He worked in Roche Vitamins from 1974-1999. He was an active member of the Sand Hill United Methodist Church where he was a member of the trustees. Don was a caregiver to many for several years and a papaw to all. His hobbies involved wood working and helping anyone in need.

He is survived by one son, Kenneth Alan Brewer of Williamstown; three grandchildren, April Dawn, Amber Dawn, Richard Lee Jr., and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Lea Brewer whom he married September 4, 1959; and one son, Richard Lee Brewer.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025 with Pastor Jeremy Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be begin at 11:00 AM until time of service.
