Dixie L. Wheaton
March 5, 1939 — January 12, 2024
Dixie was a member of the Calvary Community Church. She enjoyed Volunteering at the Strecker Cancer Center in Belpre, Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, traveling and spending time with her family.
Dixie is survived by, her daughter, Rhonda L. Cogar and son-in-law Daren L. Cogar, of Belpre, OH; one brother, William E. Vencill (Patsy) of Cedar Bluff, VA; two sisters, Saundra K. Salter of Houston, TX, Karen S. Baker (Robert) of Reedsville, OH, several nieces, nephews, her church family and many special friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Wheaton and one sister Betty P. Millhone.
A Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Calvary Community Church Belpre with Kenneth Fullerton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Calvary Community Church.
