Dixie Lynn Morris

Dixie “Nanny” Lynn Morris , 80, of Belpre, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2014.She was born August 14, 1934 at Pee Wee, W.Va., a daughter of the late Earl Asa and Derry Farley Lucky.Dixie was employed at the Belpre IGA for 27 years. Dixie loved and was very involved with her family and took pleasure in crafts and making dolls. She was a Nazarene by faith.Dixie is survived by her daughter, Nichole L. Allan (Edward) of Belpre; sons, Christopher V. Morris of Belpre and Mark A. Morris of Coolville, Ohio; brothers, Jerry B. Lucky (Carolyn) of Washington, Utah and Denny Lucky (Linda) of Vienna, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Ashley and Robyn Carpenter of Belpre, Andrew Carpenter of Huntington, W.Va., Wendy VanFosson of Lubeck, W.Va. and Sara, Cam, and Adam Morris of Belpre; and five great-grandchildren, Chloe Cole, Alycia, Noah and Landon VanFosson and Savannah Miller.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Lucky.It was her wish as well as the family that there be no formal service. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
