Dianna Fay Torres

Dianna F. Torres, 80, formerly of Fairplain, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Genesis Health Care in Parkersburg, W.Va. She was born March 7, 1936 in Jackson County, W.Va. a daughter of the late Oris N. and Belma L. Pickens Board. She formerly worked at the Vendo Corporation. Dianna enjoyed traveling and her flowers. She is survived by three daughters, Valarie Fripp (William) of North Carolina, Lisa Beaman (Paul) of Utah, and Linda Jorgenson of California; one sister, Beverly Boggess of Parkersburg; two brothers, Basil Board (Debra) of Fairplain, W.Va. and Thomas Board (Kathy) of Gay, W.Va.; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her very special friend and companion Robert Ferguson of Freeland, Maryland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bernard Board and one sister, Bertha Brotemarkle. Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. South Parkersburg with Pastor Jerry “Moose” Sowders officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
