Denver Verl Ice, 87 of Belpre, Ohio, passed away January 20, 2015 at The Arbors of Marietta.He was born August 2, 1927 in Braxton County, WV, a son of the late Samuel J. Ice and Adeline Hardway Ice.He was a machinist for Logan Machines. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and being outdoors. He was a Baptist by faith.Denver is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy M. Ice; son Kenneth Ice of Canton, Ohio;a sister, Venadell Lack of Akron, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Joseph Ice of Belpre and Larry Dean Ice of Georgia; and daughter-in-law, Donna Ice of Georgia.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Ice; sisters, Chloa May and Marie Apple; and brothers, Dempsey and Howard Ice.Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Rod Brower officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
