Denver David “Denny” Lucky, 74, of Vienna, passed away December 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 26, 1944 in Parkersburg, WV, the son of the late Earl and Derry (Farley) Lucky. Denver was a graduate of Parkersburg High School in 1962 and married his high school sweetheart, Linda D. Holbert in 1963. He graduated with a BS Degree from WV State College at Institute, WV and served from 1966-1970 in the Air Force and trained as an Air Traffic Controller. He was in Management at Borg Warner/GE Plastics and Denver was employed the last ten years at Ohio Valley University, Vienna in various administration positions. He was a member of the Grand Central Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon. Denver enjoyed golf, traveling and spending time with his granddaughters. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda D. Holbert Lucky; his daughter, Malinda L Flores (Jay) of Waverly, WV; his brother, Jerry Lucky (Carolyn) of Washington, Utah and his granddaughters, India Diane Flores and London Marie Flores. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dixie Morris and one brother, Jimmy Lucky. Funeral services for Denver will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29th 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, with Pastors Joe Spivy and Bob Stephens officiating and full military rites by the American Legion Post 15. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen North Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
