Gossett 69, of Marietta Ohio, passed away on March 24, 2015 at his residence.He was born May 13, 1945, in Marietta, Ohio a son of the late Wilson and Grace Francis Gossett.It was his passion to tell everybody, about somebody, who could save anybody. Sick or well that is what he did. He would ask, “Do you know my Jesus?” If they didn't, he would tell them how to find him, or encourage them to go back to church.Denny was employed at O'Ames True Temper for thirty-two years. He loved fishing, hunting, horses, gardening, and cooking. He will never be forgotten, and always loved, by his family, friends, and loved ones. He's a member of Baptist Temple, Parkersburg, W.Va. Denny held a position as Senior Adult Ministry. One of his greatest joys was to cook and plan dinners for the seniors that he loved so much.Denny is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Hendricks Gossett; daughters Sabrena Gossett, of Marietta, Ohio, and Leslie Gossett King of Michigan; stepson, Sean McHenry (Jennifer) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Judy Watkins; four brothers, Rick Gossett, Bernard Gossett, Cecil Gossett, and Glen Gossett; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; close friends, Danny & Loraine Cremeans, and Anthony & Gloria Groggs.In addition to his parents Denny was preceded in death by two grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio, with Pastor Larry Dale officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Bank Cemetery, Washington County, Ohio. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
