A Memorial Video to Denny is now available on this site. Dennis M. “Denny” Clegg, 66, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away January 6, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born November 24, 1949 in New Bethlehem, Pa., a son of the late C.C. Clegg and E. Virginia Bradford Clegg. He was a self employed mechanic. He loved car shows, truck pulls, go cart racing and drag racing. Denny was a mentor to many and a friend to all. He is survived by his wife, Sue Yonaley Clegg; two sisters, Sally L. Shipley of North Hills, Parkersburg and Joan Aquinto of New York State; a half sister, Kathleen Myers of Philadelphia, Pa.; brother-in-law, Ron Yonaley of Reno, Ohio; special nieces and nephews, Mel (Rachel) Shipley, Phil Shipley, Jill (Matt) Lewellyn, Brian (Marcia) Yonaley, and Julie (Mike) Bonnema; six great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Terry Powell and Helen Reed, both of Parkersburg and Larry Cantrall of Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jan Tibbot and Kathy Smith. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, South Parkersburg with Evangelist Don Seevers and Chris Waldron officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
