Dennis Carl Bibbee

Dennis Carl Bibbee, 64, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born on March 11, 1951, a son of the late James Russell and Murl Maffett Bibbee. Dennis enlisted in the U.S. Army on Nov. 18, 1968 during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on Nov. 16, 1971 as an SP-4. He continued his service for our country in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1974. Dennis was a friend of Bill W. and worked as a carpenter in his professional career. He spent his remaining retirement years with friends and helping others however he could: construction, auto repairs, rides to appointments, etc. He also loved fishing, golfing, horses, living out in the country and being around water. He is survived by his brother, Daniel Bibbee; niece, Kate Taulbee (Tim); grandson, Tylor Mosso; and his faithful beagle, Sophie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason David Bibbee LaDeaux; and a brother, David Bibbee. At his request, there will be no funeral services. Dennis is being buried at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, W.Va. with full military honors. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. A gathering to honor the life of Dennis will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Mid-Ohio Valley Fellowship Home, Inc., 1030 George St., Parkersburg, WV 26101, family and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, please do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg will be assisting the family with arrangements.
