Delores Jean West

Delores Jean West, 83, passed away March 31, 2016 at The Willows. She was born August 3, 1932, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Robert A. West and Ella Mae McKelvey West. She was educated in local schools and attended Mt. State Business College in Parkersburg. She worked for many years as a Secretary, was a former Girl Scout Leader, and volunteered for Camden Clark Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, music, reading and was an accomplished artist. She is survived by two sisters, Judith Noblett (Richard) of Warren, N.J. and Betty Collins of Washington, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Alvin Collins. She has donated her body to the Human Gift Registry at West Virginia University.
