David W. Trippett

David W. Trippett, 79, of Parkersburg, WV passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Parkersburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 17, 1943 in Parkersburg, WV. A son of the late Denver and Mildred Trippett. David joined the Army and proudly served his country. He was stationed in Germany where he met the love of his life. David also served in Vietnam. He is survived by the love of his life of 56 years, Renate; 3 sons, David (late Jerri), Bill (Vern), John (Tracey); nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his three sisters and a brother. Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg with David Sommerville officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2022 at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Saturday.
