David Allen Sprague

David Allen Sprague, 62, of Parkersburg, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born February 14, 1955, in Meigs County, Ohio, son of the late Donald and Wanda Laudermilt Sprague. David retired from the Wood County Commission Maintenance Department after thirty years of service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Morrison Sprague whom he married July 10, 1975; one daughter, Michelle Hicks (Paul) of Ashland, KY; two sons, Chris and Michael Sprague both of Parkersburg; two grandchildren, Colten Sprague and Abby Hicks; one sister, Karen Kebler (Carl) of Pomeroy, OH. In addition to his parent, David was preceded in death by one sister, Ginny Adams; and one brother, Scott Sprague. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 11a.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
