David R. Farrar

David R. Farrar, 74, of Mineral Wells, WV, passed away on October 13, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born September 25, 1944, in Parkersburg, WV, the son of the late Ray and Erma Waldeck Farrar. David was retired from the Local Millwright Union after several years of service. He enjoyed bench rest shooting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eleanor Cain Farrar; one son, Michael Farrar of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Patricia Belyus (John) of Columbus, OH and Pamela Hardman (Fred) of Parkersburg; two sister’s in-law, Ruth Bowman (John) of Richmond, VA and Janice Kelly (Patrick) of Marietta, OH; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his in-laws, Pearl and Lizzie Cain; and two sister’s in-law, Mary Cleveland and infant, Doris Jean Cain. Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mineral Wells.
