David Lee Gorrell

David Lee Gorrell 76, formally of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Parkersburg Care Center in South Parkersburg, WV.He was born May 11, 1938 in Athens County, Ohio, a son of Omer and Doreen Martin Gorrell.David is survived by two children, Rhonda Rogers (Steve) of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Ronald Gorrell (Susan), of Glen Burnie, Maryland; two granddaughters, Jami of New Boston, Texas, and Kasie of Glen Burnie, Maryland; three brothers, Warren (Carol), Paul, and Edward Gorrell; special uncle, Robert Martin, and close friend Janet Clegg.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his former wife and mother of his children, Sharon Arnold.Service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio, with Pastor Janet Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Torch Cemetery, Torch, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
