Darrell Lee Harmon

Darrell Lee Harmon, Sr., 78, of Williamstown, WV, passed away August 2, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born December 22, 1939, in Jackson County, WV, a son of the late Charles E. and Hattie Snyder Harmon. Darrell retired from G.E. after 25 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge for 35 years. He loved playing golf and was an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his two daughters, Lorraine F. Harmon of Parkersburg and Tanja Nielsen of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his son, Darrell L. Harmon Jr (Connie) of Vienna; his sister, Clara Watson of Parkersburg; six grandchildren, Ashley, Michael (Tiffany), Jason (Alexa), Makayla, Amelia, Irena; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Vaught Harmon; step-mother, Gladys Harmon; one sister, Gladys Harmon; and one brother, Earnest “Cliff” Harmon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Reverend Dr. David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
