Daren Shane Snider

Shane Snider, 51, of Mineral Wells, passed away on February 10, 2025 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1973 in Parkersburg, a son of Judith “Judy” Holbert Snider and the late Joseph Blaine Snider.

He was a 1991 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and made a career as an over the road truck driver with Teamsters. He enjoyed guns, especially collecting them with his dad.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Chris Snider; and a special friend and caregiver, Denise Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Fuenral Home, Pike St. Parkersburg, with Pastor Mike Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brohard, WV. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 13 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
