Danny Burton Alvis

Danny Burton Alvis age 86, of Parkersburg, WV passed away Monday, April 27, 2026 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.

He was born March 22, 1940 in Spencer, WV, a son of the late Ray and Imogene Watson Alvis. Danny was retired from E.I. Dupont where he was an electrician. He was a member of the Marrtown Nazarene Church, Parkersburg. Danny enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Rosalee Waggoner Alvis; two children, Angela Whipkey (Tim Wade) of Parkersburg and Edward B. Alvis of Mineral Wells, WV; two brothers, Don Alvis (Peggy) and Roger Alvis (Margaret) both of Spencer; granddaughter, Brandi Whipkey (Amanda) of Cleveland, OH and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Sue Alvis; two brothers and two sisters.

There will be no services at this time. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg is honored to serve the Alvis family.
