Daniel Lee Wilson, 72, of Mineral Wells, passed away July 21, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 17, 1952 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Howard and Claudia Hall Wilson.
He was a graduate from Parkersburg South High School, and later worked as a tool and dye maker for Parkersburg Steel, and was the president of the Steel Workers Union. He was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and used to drive dirt track cars.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lana Bell Wilson; children, Alisa Crispen, Melissa Wilson, Melinda Michaels, Allen Wilson (Kelli), Chad Harrison, Mark Wilson (Tina), Daniel Wilson (Elizabeth), Darton Wilson (Lexi), Easton Wilson (McKenzie), Savannah Walker (Roger), and Roger Mayne (Alex); twenty-three grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; his sister, Jean Corley; two brothers, Jim Wilson (Linda) and David Wilson (Linda); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Law; his second wife, Mary Wilson; his sister, Linda Blosser; brother-in-law, Bill Corley; son-in-law, Bill Michaels; and a great-granddaughter, Ciarra Michaels.
Funeral service is 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Mike Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
