Daniel Rake

Daniel Dixon Rake, 72, of Mineral Wells, W.Va. passed away at his residence.He was born December 3, 1943 in Belleville, W.Va., a son of the late John and Opal Hartley Rake.Dan was a Parkersburg High School graduate, a retired Master Electrician with IBEW Union #968 of Parkersburg and a Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He will be remembered for his love of auto mechanics.He is survived by a sister, Esther Boyd of Parkersburg; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.Upon his request there will not be services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike Street, south Parkersburg has assisted the family.
