Daniel W Allen,

Daniel W. Allen Sr. age 82, of Little Hocking, OH, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1937 in Parkersburg, a son of the late William A. and Nina O. Sams Allen. Daniel was an US Navy Veteran and a retired painter and dry wall finisher. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Spreading Truth Ministries in Parkersburg. Daniel is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty M. Newbanks Allen; his children, Daniel W. Allen Jr. (Kim) of Akron, OH, Joseph M. Allen (Cathy) of Little Hocking, Angela K. Hendershot (Thomas) of Ohio, Mark A. Allen (Danielle) of Lowell, OH, J. Ed Allen (Sarah) of Louisiana, Beth A. Griffith (Mike) of Vienna, and Rachel D. Rankin (Greg) of Newark, OH; his two brothers, Robert Allen (Shirley) and Gary D. Allen (Diane) both of Akron, OH; and 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by one brother, Randy T. Allen and one grandson, Jonathan Hendershot. Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Spreading Truth Ministries, Parkersburg. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre is assisting the family with arrangements.
