Dana Michael Pickens, 40, of Davisville, W.Va., passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011, at his residence.He was born Nov. 1, 1970, in Marietta, Ohio, a son of Clarence Dana and Phyllis Ilene Hanes Pickens of Parkersburg, W.Va. He is survived by his life partner, Melissa (Micki) Goff of Davisville, W.Va.; his daughter, Brittany Toothman Pickens Hendershot of Waverly, W.Va.; one brother, Brian Pickens (Sylvia) of Gilroy, Calif.; one sister, Tina Pickens Dugan (Joe) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four nieces, Erika Pickens (Brian) Whited, Natasha Dugan (Jeremy) Kelbaugh, and Courtney Dugan, all of Parkersburg, and Sarah Pickens of Gilroy Calif.; two nephews, Joey (Ceyleigh) Dugan of Vienna and Brandon Pickens of Gilroy, Calif.; two great-nephews, Skyler Whited and Liam Kelbaugh, both of Parkersburg; and two great-nieces, Madison Whited and Lilian Kelbaugh, both of Parkersburg; his grandmothers, Hazel Gaston Pickens of Lakeland, Fla., and Mabel Thomas Hanes of Marietta, Ohio; and several aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Clarence O'Fredrick Pickens and Ralph Hanes; niece, Amanda Pickens; uncle, Larry Pickens; and aunt Laura Pickens.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Doug Guinn and Pastor Larry Dale officiating. Burial will follow in Hodam Cemetery in Roane County, W.Va. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
