Dale F. DeQuasie Sr, 83, of Mineral Wells, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1936, in Little Hocking, OH, a son of the late Gordon Boyd and Garnet Elizabeth Hendricks DeQuasie. Dale was retired from Elkem Metals after several years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, vacationing at the Outer Banks and riding 4-Wheelers. Dale attended the Souls Refuge Church in Parkersburg. He is survived by his children, Rebecca Koon (Gerry), Dale DeQuasie Jr. (Mary), Cristine Sims (Kerry), Edwin DeQuasie (David), Jeri Roton (Luther), George Carpenter and Michael Carpenter (Heather); 14 grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and furbabies, Rover, Stormy, Lily and Boofer. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his first wife, Ima Rosazetta Buskirk DeQuasie; second wife, Inez Marlene DeQuasie; brother, Carl Frederick DeQuasie; sister, Wilma DeQuasie Hall; and one grandson, Christopher Lee Koon. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor John Longfellow officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
