Cynthia Jean (Davis) Hague, 70, of Vienna, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Ohio State University Medical Center on Friday, August 24, 2018. Cynthia was born July 31, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Eugene Lewis and Anna Lucille (Stanley) Davis. She was a 1966 graduate of Ravenswood High School where she was also a majorette and member of the band. Cynthia went on to Marshall University where she was a Marshall cheerleader and a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. Cindy spent many years as a Real Estate agent in the Parkersburg area. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jennings “Jinky” Lewis Davis, her husband Eugene T. Hague, Jr., and her daughter Mary Lou Hague. She is survived by her son Eugene T. Hague III of New York City, New York; daughters, Angela (Scott) Stropkai, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Cindy (Jason) Bullock of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Diane (Randy) Kulp of Savannah, Georgia; brother-in-law, Steven (Cindy) Hague of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and sister-in-law, Karen Davis of Ravenswood. In addition she is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Grant and Owen Stropkai, Marielle and Caroline Bullock, and Heath and Elizabeth Kulp. Finally, Cindy is survived by her loving fiancé, Jonathan Diehl who provided incredible love and care in her final happy years of life. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, burial will follow in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mary Lou Hague Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation.
